Yo-kai Watch: The Movie Coming to Theaters October 15 #YoKaiWatchMovie
Often I catch myself mesmerized by what my children watch. I know I have to pay attention because there’s been quite a few cartoons that I’ve just had to switch off and say it’s not appropriate.
When I heard that Yo-kai Watch: The Movie is coming to theaters for one day only I had to let my oldest know and I’ve got all the details for viewing.
What is Yo-Kai Watch?
If you haven’t had the chance to see full episodes on the official Yo-Kai Watch YouTube channel head over now to start screening. Yo-Kai Watch is a show that involves an average human who encounters Yo-Kai (they are invisible beings that make the annoying things happen in daily life) and his hilarious adventures being surrounded by them.
In comes this special watch which allows our hero (Nate Adams) to see the Yo-Kai and try to work together to solve daily problems that are caused by mischievous other Yo-Kai.
Now we get the first ever English-language film that is based on the show and features the voice that you recognize from the show airing on Disney XD.
The movie will follow Nate traveling back in time to join his grandfather battle the evil Yo-Kai and see how the Yo-Kai Watch was made! A special appearance by a new Yo-Kai that fights alongside his grandfather is also another great reason to attend this movie that will tie everything into place.
One Day Only Details and Twitter Party!
You can see Yo-kai Watch: The Movie at Tinseltown 17 with IMAX Rochester on Saturday, October 15, at 11 a.m., and have the opportunity to win fun Yo-kai Watch prizes. Check out all of the Hasbro Yo-kai Watch toys, take your photo with Yo-kai and play fun games!
Make sure you come on time to your showing as there will be a chance to receive a limited edition Hovernyan Yo-Motion Yo-Kai Medal, while supplies last!
Before the movie comes out you can join a fun filled Yo-Kai Watch Twitter Party for the chance to win one of 5 $50 gift cards. Head over and RSVP and join me October 13 at 1 p.m. ET.
