When WaterWipes Could be Handy
My kids have inherited my sensitive skin. From watching what we wash their clothes in, to some foods giving their skin rashes after touching it, being aware of changes in their body reactions is important. No place is more sensitive than their bottoms.
Gentle Cleaning with WaterWipes
Having seen the brand WaterWipes featured on a lot of European parenting sites, I was very pleased to see that Target now carries them right with the baby wipes. Containing only two ingredients, 99% water and .1% grapefruit seed extract, I couldn’t have been happier to have something that would give me the opportunity to switch out some of our wipes that have more chemicals in them. Now were using chemical free wipes!
Kyler could not stop giggling when we cleaned his face with WaterWipes. It was purely adorable.
For the past week the kids have been getting over a sickness, and this has left their bottoms a bit red from going to the bathroom more. Worried about giving them more of a rash, I switched to WaterWipes and the transformation has been amazing! No more tears with wiping and with some treatment the rashes have gone away. That is a big score for me as not I don’t have to wrestle the kids down to clean them up. However, these wipes are not only for bottoms I have some other uses I like for them.
Uses for WaterWipes
- Cleaning faces
- Cleaning your walls and counter tops
- Picking up hairballs from cats
- Getting the food your kids threw on the floor from the lunch you made them that they asked for (oh yes, love you guys)
- That crust that is known as “eye sleepys” from kids or animals
- Practically any mess you can think of
This is one wipe after using it on my wall! I couldn’t believe it, having used so many things on my wall before to clean it this was the simplest thing ever.
We (Keith and I) really enjoyed using these wipes, he wouldn’t stop talking about the fact that there is no scent. Something that bothers him easily and he has trouble using some wipes on his face or hands. One of our friends uses baby wipes for any mess and at a birthday party she was handing them to people left and right, next time I stop over I’m going to be dropping off a package for her to try.
