Lets give a toast to the liquid gold that gets most of us parents out of bed in the morning! If you didn’t know when to celebrate your favorite hot beverage it’s September 29th National Coffee Day.
I’ve rounded up some of the most delicious coffee drinks and desserts that you could ask for. All you need to do is go out and shop and then kick your feet up and enjoy some caffeine!
Let me give you a little background of my favorite beverage and I. My mother used to work C shift (that’s the latest shift for those who don’t know usually going in at 12AM) and of course she needed some caffeine to get her going through the time and it came in the form of coffee.
She was a straight black coffee drinker during those times but has begun to like cream in it as well. A few sips on that coffee and I was in love with the taste and energy that it gave my body to bounce of the walls. It wasn’t until I was a teen when I was able to drink it regularly just a cup a day.
Fast forward to now and after the kids get on the bus I hop in my best friend’s car and go over to have a cup and some gossip. The different devices that can give us a coffee and the ways they can taste or the recipes they can be cooked in are almost endless! Hot coffee or cold coffee, just give me some coffee on National Coffee Day!
