How to Pack a Makeup Bag in Your Late Twenties
Over the last year I have really put myself into the latest makeup and beauty trends. As I’m ageing, my skin is as well and I need to change up my usual routine and take care of my body for my age now. See what I think is important to be pack a makeup bag in your late twenties.
Adult Acne Concerns
I like to use a makeup primer that helps fight my acne as well as keep a small bottle of acne spot solution in my bag. The primer helps to keep my acne under control every time I put makeup on and with the acne spot solution I can fight and target specific pimples as they appear.
Adult acne is no joke and keeping it in line makes sure that I am clear for selfies and fun all day long.
In my opinion contouring is second to this amazing trick you can do with beauty products. I keep a peach (for tired skin) and a green (for redness) color corrector in my makeup bag at all times. They always go on after my primer and before my foundation.
Think of them as a fun little photoshop tool to get rid of tired looking skin and redness. The green is wonderful for covering bright red pimples with a little blending.
Poise Thin Shape Pads
I’ve been experiencing light bladder leakage for a few years before my first kid was born. It also get’s worse when I have cold and need to sneeze or cough. These are a must have in my bag so that I can keep my clothes dry with their Leak-Block technology and keep odor at bay too.
Picking them up at Rite Aid when I go on makeup buying spree for their low sales is a cinch! You can find them right in the Family Care section near the pharmacy.
Being active with my kids I need something that can not only stay in place but also be comfortable. Chasing the kids around at the park and laughing can cause for some ‘uh-oh moments’but not when these are tucked safely in my makeup bag.
Makeup Remover Swabs
The easiest way to fix a touch up is using charcoal swabs to get all the makeup off in a swipe. Cat eye too long? Shadow not blending? Too much contour on the forehead? Fix it with a simple charcoal makeup swab and you’re set to go!
Those are what I deem valuable in my makeup bag for my late twenties. What do you like to pack in yours? Are there certain products you use because of your age? Which Poise product is right for you?
