MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron has invaded your local Walmart! The movie is being released in theaters today and Walmart has all the latest Avengers items. We stopped by our local Walmart and picked up some fun cosplay items for Korey to play with, and yes his brother and dad got in on the action.
Korey loves Captain America, his brother Kyler is just like the Hulk and dad is all about Iron Man. I think Thor is rather easy on the eyes and Black Widow kicks some major butt! Walmart.com has a special app MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron Super Hereos Assemble and this is a must have because there are fun interactions you can do throughout the store.
How To Get MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron Super Hereos Assemble App
1. Head to your app store
You will find MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron Super Hereos Assemble in iTunes and Google Play . This app is completely free which is amazing!
2. Search your local Walmart for the items to unlock
In the app you will find images in the Discover mode that you need to go around the store and find. Some are store displays and others are specialty marked products, we stocked up on some Doritos, Dr. Pepper and Cheez-It’s. The app is very helpful in letting you know exactly what you are looking for. Starting on 4/30 when you scan specialty marked Dr. Pepper you unlock a comic book!
3. Learn About Characters
Another mode in the MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron Super Hereos Assemble App is the Character mode. Where after you have downloaded the character you can learn all about their special abilities and just what makes them a unique Avenger.
4. Movie Mode
Can’t contain your excitement for the movie? Me either! With Movie mode you get trailers, clips and an insider look at the movie. Your friends will be amazed at your knowledge that you have after browsing this amazing feature.
5. Photo Op With Avengers
This mode is awesome! Not only can you use it in the store but if your store doesn’t have the signage up you can go to Walmart.com and scan the image. Get ready for a photo op with your favorite Avenger! Your kids will love the feature and it will really get anyone excited about seeing the movie.
6. Suit Up
With an additional download you can dress up as your favorite Avenger with the fun Suit Up mode. You even have the opportunity to send the pictures to your friends to get them pumped for the release! There is so much in this app that you really can’t explore it all in one day but it brings you closer to the movie and your favorite characters!
To make things even more fun I made a fun ‘mad libs’ type of letter for you to print out and fill out with your children. Gather up your MARVEL’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron outfits that you can find in the toy section of your local Walmart and fill this out. Expand your child’s imagination through play and their vocabulary by having them help you fill it out.
