Over the past few months my family has been spending as much time as possible to make happy memories with my Grandfather. He was put on Hospice 4 months ago and now he has declined drastically, every good day with him we are grateful for.
I’ve never really needed a phone as much as I do now, keeping in touch with my mom on how my Grandfather is doing, whether through texting or talking I have one of the best Walmart Phone Plans to keep up with me.. One of my favorite things to do is take pictures and send them to my mother to show him. He used to travel and visit many local places while my Grandmother was alive. Frequently while I’m out on a trip down the canal I will send a photo for him to see what it looks like since he hasn’t been able to walk in months.
He is also a big fan of music, and one of the wonderful things about the internet and apps is all the music you can connect to. While his hearing is not the same I am able to leave on some of his favorite old songs and he will mouth along with happiness to hear tones and lyrics he is familiar with, all on my unlimited data plan from Walmart Family Mobile.
Capturing everyday life is so much easier with unlimited data and being able to upload to my Google drive or Dropbox. The photo modes on the camera have allowed me to take more pictures with my Samsung S4 than even my DSLR camera. From beauty mode, which can erase some of those blemishes and smooth our wrinkles, to sports mode which is exactly what I use to capture my kids in motion.
These fun memories that I have been able to share with my Grandfather have been wonderful. I am thrilled to be apart of the Walmart Family Mobile family and to experience first hand the fast 4G LTE technology and unlimted talk text and data.
