Making a Difference in Mens Health with Lennox in Movemeber
Are you familiar with the term Movember? It’s meant to mark a yearly event where men grow out their mustaches for awareness of men’s health such as prostate cancer, depression and other cancers in men. The goal of this awareness from the Movember Foundation is “to change the face of men’s health”, more awareness means more information can be shared.
Encouraging the talk
Movember Foundation likes to call male friends “Mo Bros” and encourages them to get involved in their health. Through talking with their doctor, Lennox wants to see an increase in early detection, diagnosis and treatment. For some men it is difficult to talk about their health, but that stigma needs to be squashed.
Sharing and Donating Through Social Media
Think that you can’t help? Every time someone shares content through the Lennox Facebook page or RT from their Twitter page, Lennox will be donating $2 to men’s health. Stop by their Instagram page and like or comment and $2 will be donated as well. This is such an easy way to use social media to help, and gives you many chances to help give back.
Make a Difference This Movember
Throughout the entire month of November, Lennox will continue to update their social media pages to share mens health information. Alongside this you will find encouraging and inspiring stories from men and women that have been affected by various health issues or have someone who was affected close to them.
The tagline of this campaign is Tell a guy you know. Simple yet effective because just giving knowledge of health to the man in your life you love and help them detect things early and get a doctor diagnosis.
How do you share health issues with the man in your life?
