How to Keep Your Baby Safe: Little Movers Tips
Before you start proofing the house to make sure that your baby can move around the house safely, make sure that you stock up on diapers at Sam’s Club. My favorite to get is their bonus packs of Huggies Little Movers, Kyler wears a size 6 and we get 12 bonus diapers!
Cover corners
Make sure that you cover your coffee tables, kitchen, and any possible sharp corners on furniture. Don’t think just of their height at the time if they are crawling, as they will easily be grabbing onto the furniture trying to stand up and if they are unbalanced they could fall into a corner.
Keeping our first child safe from corners was very important before we had him. His father went over our whole apartment and made sure that he covered all corners to keep our little one safe. Speaking of covering your corners, if you submit a photo of your little mover you could have the chance to win $500 Sam’s Club gift card! That would cover a lot of diapers.
Anchor the furniture and electronics
One of the biggest hazards that was happening when I was pregnant for the first time was furniture tipping over on children. From dressers to televisions, any big furniture or electronic can easily tip over when you little mover starts exploring.
Wall brackets and mounts for your devices and furniture are easy to find and very easy to install. It took no time at all for Keith to secure the dresser for the baby and the changing table as well. Once my first child was waddling around and shaking his table, he was safe and I was at easy knowing that it was secured properly.
Cover outlets
The cheapest and easiest thing you can do is also plug up your outlets. You can easily find these in stores in dozen and just pop them into your plug. That way when your baby is crawling around and their fingers are exploring they can’t get themselves shocked.
Lock up the pet food
Do you have a cat or dog? Make sure that you put their food up too! I can promise you that the kids will attempt to eat it, and if your dog is territorial about their food this will prevent and bites.
Don’t forget

How do you keep your little mover safe?
Ah, your little guy is so cute. Great reminders about protecting your home. I’ve always heard the best way to see what is safe and what is not is to get down to a kid’s level. Sometimes we forget what a little person’s perspective looks like.
Before the twins arrived I made sure that the whole house was baby proofed! Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to sleep through the night knowing that they may encounter accidents within the house. These are very good tips! I’m glad huggies is behind you on this as well!
Covering corners is definitely important. Tumbles are inevitable so you have to be careful.
Wow, I love this diapers for my two boys. I really love the tips
Huggies are excellent diapers. I loved buying the big box. It saved money and time.
I also agree with all of your safety info. My friends daughter had a huge accident bc they didn’t strap the dresser to the wall. It fell over and it had a TV sitting on top. The girl got a concussion, small skull fracture, and huge gash on her forehead. It was awful. 🙁

I bought some cover outlets from a hardware store at the mall. Yes, it is really safe because it is made of plastic-like material.
When the babies start moving around the house that is when you need to be extra careful to make sure the baby is safe without any issues as a small mistake can turn things in to serious issues. These are some important tips to note & Huggies is such a great brand for diapers anytime!
My son is little and moves constantly. I should try these diapers. Thanks for sharing!
These are amazing tips. Great informative post indeed. Could come in handy for first time parents too!

My Baby is very safe to this diaper! love this!
My husband made sure that the house is a baby-proofed from covering the outlets to fixing the sharp edges he could find. I, on the other hand, safety first”, is ensuring that my baby is comfortable, by purchasing a good diaper.
There are several items inside the house that can cause injuries to kids. Installing cabinet locks can also keep dangerous chemicals and other substances out of childrens’ reach.
