Haunted Trail Mix Halloween Snack #SnackAndGo
Now that Korey is used to his schedule with two preschools, he’s very excited for Halloween. Between events, playdates and birthdays, I have to keep him fed and come up with something fun to keep his senses entertained. It’s easy to feed him and his friends when you start with a Go-Paks! and a delicious Snack Pack® pudding.
Snack and Go
Your basic needs for this Haunted Trail mix are a variety of Go-Paks!, I found mine at my local Walmart near the checkout up front in a big bin. We went with OREO mini and Golden OREO mini as well as Nilla, Chips Ahoy and Teddy Grahams.
Now one of my favorite things about these cups, besides the fact that we reuse them for snacks on the go constantly, is that you can add liquid to these! Add in some Snack Pack® puddings in vanilla and chocolate as your ingredient that will hold things together which you will find in the baking aisle, now you need the topper. Go to the dairy section and look in the creamer fridge and get Reddi Wip Original to top it off with.
- 1 Go-Paks! cup (OREO mini, golden,OREOmini, mini Nilla, mini Chips Ahoy and Teddy Grahams work best)
- 1 Snack Pack pudding
- Chocolate and Raisin bar
- Gummy bears
- Reddi Wip
- Empty the Go-Paks! and crush the ingredients to make a fine to course crumble
- Melt caramel, pour some of the Go-Paks! ingredients in the bottom and add caramel
- Take a big scoop of the pudding and add in
- Top with some of the chocolate and raisin bar
- Top with more pudding
- Top with more of your crushed Go-Paks! ingredient
- Top with gummy bears
- Add some Reddi Wip and grab a spoon and enjoy!
I loved setting up the Haunted Trail Mix mix-ins bar. Lets just say that mom was the hit of the day and everyone wanted to create their own spooky snack.
Not only is this a great treat, it’s affordable! We always buy these for the boys to share as snacks weekly and for $1 at Walmart this is a steal with what we have turned this into. Leak free containers allow for your imagination to go a little crazy, and you have plenty of room to add in your favorite mix-ins.
This is one snack that will surely haunt your taste buds and leave them begging for more, and the kids may start acting nicer before a Halloween part with these on hand.
What is your favorite way to enjoy these Go-Paks! ? How would you assemble a spooky treat fit for a group of monsters?
