We all have stress in our lives. Whether it is caused by our job, family, deadlines, or a big event one way or another stress will find you. It’s how we deal with stress that is important (hint: ignoring it doesn’t make it go away) use some of my tips and tricks to deal with stress and RESCUE yourself.
Take a nap
If you have the ability to sneak a nap in, it’s a great idea. This is my first choice when I can’t think straight from too much stress. After resetting my body and clearing my head I can start to think better and my stress level is lowered. A nice quiet, dark room and resting your eyes for 15 minutes can do a world of difference for your body.
Have a bath or shower
Warm water will help your body relax. Add in a lavender scent for bath salts or body wash and you have a nice aromatherapy stress reliever. Giving your body and mind something else to concentrate on will help you tackle your task that is causing stress better.
Try RESCUE Pastilles
One of my favorite brands for stress relief is RESCUE. I have used their products for years, it started with their sleep liquid melts and now I use their Pastilles for natural stress relief. I am always reluctant when trying something that helps stress because I deal with it . Dance or sing
It’s hard to get upset and angry if you’re dancing and singing. I know it sounds silly and it might not help you with the task at hand but fighting negativity with positivism works. When I feel like my work load is too much and the deadlines just keep getting closer and I start stressing, dancing and singing with my kids always brings a smile to my face. Then when I come back and look at my work, I’m brighter and can find myself able to manage and think better.

No matter what causes you stress you need to have a positive way to deal with it, ignoring it will only make it worse when you have to deal with the stressful situation.
