What reminds you of Spring in terms of flavor? I always think of salads and wraps or sandwiches. Spring is about getting out more for me after being stuck inside the house all winter, New York winters can be brutal. Here is my favorite Chicken Caesar Wrap that I like to make with a new twist, Alexia onion rings for an added crunch.
This Spring has been all about gardening, spending time with my grandfather while he is on Hospice at home, and just trying to enjoy life as it is happening. We have been walking the canal more seeing the wildlife and just being among the trees, it has brought out the teen in me. I spent many of my teen years just walking into the woods with my friends and talking.
Korey knows about picnics now and has pointed out a few spots he wants to have a little picnic. I’m going to be making these Chicken Caesar Wraps for us, I love the crunch that the Alexia onion rings bring. Let me tell you that these onion rings don’t play around they are HUGE, and loaded with natural ingredients as are their Sweet potato fries and new Rosemary and Sea Salt fries.
- 1 chicken breast sliced into strips
- salad mix
- Medium tomato sliced
- caesar dressing to taste
- 4-5 Alexia onion rings cooked til crunchy
- 1 spinach wrap
- Other toppings as you wish
- Place caesar dressing down the middle of the wrap
- Add salad mix and chicken
- Put tomato slices on top and add Alexia onion rings.
- Roll wrap up and slice to serve.
When you’re shopping at your local Walmart next you will be able to find all of these Alexia products in the freezer section. They should up high on the shelves and the new Rosemary Fries might be a little displaced from the other Alexia products, it took a little searching for that beautiful bag.
Not everyone likes a wrap so I want to show you how you can quickly make this into a salad! Just remove the wrap from the meal, take Alexia Sweet Potato fries and cook them extra crunchy, slice them up and top them on the salad! It’s a wonderful healthy alternative to croutons while still giving you that crunch that you’re craving.
