Country Sweet Chicken Pizza Recipe
A taste most New Yorkers love is Country Sweet. My boyfriend introduced this sauce to me, being from Rochester he was familiar with Country Sweet restaurants. Unfortunately most have closed, but they are still bottling this wonderful sauce.
I’m not sure what it is about this Country Sweet Chicken pizza recipe, but it makes me want to invite friends over and just share some memories and laughs. Pizza always seems like a food to be shared with a group of people and good time.
Available in both hot and mild, Country Sweet is so popular you can buy it online! New York isn’t the only state enjoying this delicious sauce.
- ½ c. Country Sweet
- 1 refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 c. cooked boneless skinless chicken breast sliced
- ¼ c. shredded mozzerella
- ¼ c. shredded cheddar
- Preheat oven to 350
- Roll dough out onto pizza pan
- Add country sweet and chicken in small container and shake coating well
- Place on dough spreading evenly
- Top with cheese
- Cook 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted
It comes out with a little thick crust, not a full extreme thin crust but it could be rolled thinner if you like. It’s a great pizza for a great together, especially something like a football game or whatever sports you may watch. A hearty pizza like this is meant to be shared.
It’s easy to add vegetables to this pizza to kick up the nutritional value as well. It’s like eating chicken wings on a pizza!
