Are you a candy corn person? To be honest, neither Keith nor I like candy corn. As an experiment I decided to hand Korey a piece of candy corn, just testing to see if he is our child. Well apparently they switched kids at the hospital because this kid ate 10 of them before I decided to cut him off. Somehow I did manage to make a candy cornbread muffins that Keith and I found edible!
More Halloween Food

- box of cornbread mix
- bag of candy corn
- honey
- candy corn confetti
- Make cornbread according to muffin directions
- After they are done take them out and insert candy corn tip down
- Warm honey in a bowl in microwave then drizzle over muffins and sprinkle confetti candy over muffins
I love how easy these Candy Cornbread Muffins were to make as well. Not a lot of extra went into them but the taste really stands out, the honey gives it an extra little sweet taste. These are perfect after dinner muffins, not a lot of sugar to them. Simple to get your kid to eat something good for them without them having to know, you can even call them cupcakes if you want. 😉
Not a candy corn confetti person? They are easy to brush off, my little sensory seeker likes to brush them off and then eat them by themselves. Whatever the kiddo likes, go for it I say if it doesn’t involve a fight. The taste of the cornbread really masks the candy corn inside it, do not be afraid and GO FOR IT!
Are you a candy corn person or no?

These look fabulous and so moist. It surprised me to see there wasn’t lots of ingredients in these, love this for sure and want to give them a try
Now I love candy corn, and I’m a huge cornbread fan, so these sound great! I don’t think my son got any candy corn trick-or-treating though. I’ll have to remember this for next year.

What a fun way to use candy corn, must buy extra and hide it as it doesn’t last long enough to make a recipe with it!
Cornbread for a dessert!!!! I like the contrast in flavors that would have. We usually just put cheese and jalapenos.
Perfect to celebrate a rainy Halloween! Thanks for the idea.
