Broomstick Parking Halloween Printable Decor
Printable, printed on card stock and trimmed to 8×10
Natural Colored Raffia
Orange Colored Raffia (I got mine at the dollar tree, if you don’t have raffia, you can easily use twine.)
Twig – even if you “think” you can’t find a twig – you can! At the park, in your neighbor’s yard, on the side of the road! It doesn’t have to be big, my stick 4″ long
8×10 frame of your choice
This is much more of a Halloween craft for parents only rather than children, at least younger children however they can help you find the twig!
Grab a small bunch of raffia and center the strands. At the center, loosely tie a twisty tie around the center to hold. Fold down at the center (so it makes a loop) and cut the bunch (on each end) so your broom is about 4″ on each side (8″ total if you lay it flat). My raffia is long so I used those trimmed pieces, centered them up again and added them to the twist tie. Add as much raffia as you’d like.
Hold folded in the center so it makes a loop at the top. Tie orange raffia or twine around the broom near the top. Knot and wrap around a few times. Knot again and trim. Affix with hot glue if necessary.
Stuff the twig in the center of the broom. If necessary, add hot glue to hold the stick in place. Trim the broom raffia to the length desired. Trim the broomstick handle if necessary. Place on printable, position as desired and hot glue onto the paper.
