Breakfast with Healthy Apple Yogurt Bread Recipe
- 1 c. sugar
- ½ c. butter
- 2 eggs
- ½ c. plain yogurt
- ¼ tsp. skim milk
- ½ baking soda
- ½ tsp.salt
- 2 c. flour
- 1½ c. chopped raw apple
- Combine milk and yogurt, use only 2 tbsp. of mixture
- Cream sugar, butter and eggs together.
- Add milk and yogurt mixture, soda, salt, baking powder and flour.
- Add chopped apples.
- Pour into bread pan, sprinkle with cinnamon bake at 350F for 1 hour
What I really enjoy about this recipe is that you can change the taste just by selecting a different apple. Living in Western New York, I am fortunate to have a lot of farms to source fresh fruit from. Again something my grandmother was so proud of, buying from people we know. Putting a face with your food bring a certain level of joy to me.
