There are at least 5 things you should know about me if we’re going to be friends, possibly even 100 things but I can’t drink that much coffee to tell you that!
5 Things You Should Know About Me
- I’m more of a listener, than a talker.
I believe that this is what lead to me start study psychology, and even pursue it during my college career. Throughout middle school and high school my friends and I had many notes and even notebooks passed back and forth with our writing, asking for advice or even just sharing what happened over the weekend.
During high school we would huddle in my room crying to each other about boy problems or whatever other problems we were having. Even though I shared with my friends, I was always the one, and still am, that they could count on to come to to just talk to me. I can listen to someone just vent and complain or I can give them advice if they want it. Either way I like helping people get out bad thoughts or help them process a problem in a different way that they might not have thought of.
2. I drink a lot of coffee.
During pregnancy I slow down to what I believe others consider normal. Partially due to having a Keurig that my wonderful boyfriend bought me last year for Mothers Day. Knowing that all I have to do is pop in a K-cup and get some delicious coffee in under 2 minutes. Yes please. Don’t get me wrong I also really enjoy getting coffee while I’m out. Favorite places: Starbucks, Tim Hortons, and Panera. I don’t have that many places around me that have coffee and some local little shops have closed so I need to venture out into the city more to get some different coffee.
3. I was an Actress.
Throughout Primary to High School I was an actress or had to do things that involved acting. Since I did this for so long it can be hard sometimes to tell if I’m being serious or acting, but I always break character and let the other person know. This always causes me to have a weird sense of humor.
4. I’m 10 second Tom.
Hi I’m Tom! Have you ever seen 50 First Dates? The guy Tom they meet in the hospital who cannot remember another for longer than 10 seconds. Yup that would pretty much be me. I have a horrible memory and so does my best friend. Put us together and you would think we should be in a home because it takes us forever to get to the point and to figure out what story we are trying to remember.
5. I will probably order something Greek.
If we were to go out to eat and there was something Greek on the menu, you can bet I’m probably going to order it. I use to be a very picky eater but over the past 2 years I have ventured out into the Greek world. I cannot get enough of Feta cheese, Kalmata olives, and pita bread! Who wants to go out to eat?
