30 Days Of Me: Day 3 Meet My Pets
Day 3 is all about meeting my pets. I’ve talked about them before so here is a little more in depth of all of them.
Chinchillas
Spazz & Beetlejuice are brothers that we received from a previous friend. They are 8 years old, Spazz is a standard grey and Beetlejuice is a mosaic. Fun fact, these little adorable guys like to hump for dominance and they roll around in volcano ash in the wild (man made dust at home) . They aren’t very cuddly, at least ours don’t like to but they are very adorable and lovable.
Cats
All of our cats have been rescued, two from outside one from a friend who needed to home a kitten. We each seem to have our own cat. Korey has Williams (named after Robin Williams) who we rescued this Fall when his owners abandoned him, Keith (dad) has Knives (Scott Pilgrim character, and his best friend has her sister) the skinny cat and I am the owner of Mila (named about Mila Kunis/Jovovich of course) who hates every animal in this house, she’s a capital B!

Dog
Bella, as most of you know came from Keith’s grandmother after she passed. No one wanted to take her and I didn’t want her to end up in a shelter. She’s a catahoula leopard dog with the most beautiful spots ever, I will be catching more of these as the weather clears up!
Never met someone who owned a chinchilla before. They look cute. Love that you took the dog in – what a cutie!

You have a beautiful fur family! I also have rescue cats and dogs in my home. They bring me so much joy. I also have 2 sugar gliders, like your chinchillas, they don’t like to be cuddled. Actually , they do not like to be handled at all. The lady I got them from didn’t handle them at all. I love to watch them though. I feel like I rescued them from a lady that didn’t really love them that much. Finally, I have a red eared slider turtle, Sebastian. He is so amazing and very sweet! I love animals so much!!
I love your pets! They are all so adorable! The dog in the snow reminds me of my dog, but he does not like the snow at all. I have a male Basset Hound named Biggles and he is 10 years old and my best friend! He goes for walks with me and sits by me all day!
Your photos really show how beautiful your pets are. We have one old black male cat named Hershey.
The chinchilla is so adorable. I have 2 little dogs that weigh aprox. 5 pounds they are Chorkies. My male loves to hang out, and ride along in my purse. He has ever since he was a puppy, he’s going to be 2 next month.
You have beautiful pets, thanks for sharing the photos!
I don’t have any pets right now, I love your chinchillas and the cute names. My favorite pet was a purebred Nubian goat, and I also had a couple of chickens, too. My goat would like to hang out by tucking her legs under her, and then the hen would come and sit on her back and also hang out there! Also, my hen had my rooster trained – she would lay her egg, then get up and go have fun digging for bugs, and the rooster would go and sit on the egg(s) for her. Also if I put out a treat like a grape, the rooster would run and grab it, then the hen would chase him around and around like crazy til she tuckered out, then he would take the grape and put it down in front of her so she could have it.
I love your chinchilla and have never had a friend who has owned one!
I have an 8-year-old Weimaraner. She’s overly active, we also say she has ADHD. We love her so and she’s the best antidepressant pill ever!
