Urban Decay’s holiday line has my wallet shrinking but my makeup geek inside me singing! My first pick up is the Vice 2 palette for $59. Unfortunately I do not own the first Vice palette, I wish I did because I just love palettes and exclusive colors. My expectations of the palette were: high quality pigmentation that comes with all Urban Decay shadows, good quality in the case, worthwhile limited edition colors.
That beautiful little button there opens the palette, all by itself the beautiful top springs open and displays the adorable colors. The case is hard, adorned with two beautiful jewels that spell ‘UD’, an out of this world smoky purple color and withstood my accident proneness without hurting any of the shadows. Nothing can make your heart jump faster than only having this pretty palette for one day and then dropping it!
Urban Decay says:
Experiment with insanely cool brights, not-your-average neutrals, and sexy hits of smoke, all in our decadent, revamped formula. In case you weren’t around for the frenzy of the original Vice Palette, here’s the deal: yes, Vice 2 is limited edition and it WILL sell out. (With 20 EXCLUSIVE shades you won’t find anywhere else, what would you expect!?)
Every shade features our Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives the formula its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability.
Even the case is luxe. It’s drenched in a pretty-but-edgy, abstract orchid design that’s applied with a special process—so no two palettes are exactly alike—and topped off with a gunmetal jeweled UD icon. With the touch of a button, the case opens slowly, seductively, to unveil all those gorgeous shadows, along with an oversized mirror and a double-ended, cruelty-free shadow/crease brush.

Lovesick and Poison are pretty similar so there could have been room for a different shade. Habit is great for fair skin tone as it matches perfectly to my skin for me, great base and under eyebrow shade. I really like this as my first holiday purchase from Urban Decay and can’t wait to make more looks with it.
