10 Minute Chicken Fajitas Dinner
We’ve been back to school for almost 2 weeks and I’m reminded just how busy it is. Waking up at 6AM, bus at 850AM, lunch at 11, and afternoon school at 12PM. By dinner time both kids are tired and their dad is ready to take a nap before work. Dinner needs to be quick and thanks to Walmart Marketside, I can make it effortless.
Years ago I could take time with dinner and make whatever we wanted. There could be hours spent cooking, but this time of the year is too busy to do that. Thankfully Walmart has delicious Marketside meals that you can enhance, or grab and go for an easy dinner with a beverage like Coca-Cola.
With a busy night ahead you can go to Walmart and look for Marketside meals like rotisserie chicken which comes with a 2 LB side of potato salad, macaroni salad or cole slaw along with a 2 liter of Coca-Cola, yes all together! Also you can get a pizza meal, a 16″ pepperoni pizza or cheese pizza with a 2 liter of Coca-Cola as well.
Near the deli you will find effortless meal and Marketside signs for your to-go dinners. These are delicious and fresh options for a healthy dinner together with your family, all you need to provide are the plates, silverware and conversation!
15 minute Chicken Fajitas means that I have time to get the kids sitting and everyone a hot plate at once. And that’s more of a miracle around here. This is one of family favorite meals around here and I love that I can make it even faster with precooked chicken.
- 1 Rotisserie Chicken , shredded
- 1 package fajita spice
- sour cream
- taco sauce (mild or hot)
- tomatoes, onions, peppers (optional topping)
- 5-6 fajita wraps
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- Prepare chicken and fajita spice according to packet
- Preheat oven to 350
- Spray a baking dish with nonstick spray and lay wrap down, add chicken and roll up
- Continue until chicken is gone
- Top with taco sauce, and cheese
- Cook in oven for 5 minutes until cheese is melted
- Top with sour cream and other toppings
One of the tricks to chicken fajitas is making sure that you roll them up tight so they don’t fall apart when you take them out to serve.
Don’t forget to add the delicious Coca-Cola!
How would you make an effortless meal with Marketside products and Coca-Cola?
